Within a 10 minute walk
Is a 6ft monolith that is believed to bring good luck to newlyweds and passing sailors who walk around it seven times.
Gourock's heated saltwater open-air pool, is a 10 minute walk along the promenade, and opens in spring each year and offers stunning day views and enchanting starlit swims. Gourock pool also has a state of the art gym with views across the Clyde.

Clubhouse has superb views over the river Clyde and Argyll hills as well as a convenient position just west of Gourock’s centre.
Trains run regularly to Glasgow Central Train Station from Gourock Train Station via Greenock and Paisley.

Home of the Fish Works, an award winning fish and chip shop, and Scotland's most famous cafe, restaurant and ice-cream parlour Nardinis. (26 minute/33 minute bus ride).
Dunoon
A short ferry ride from Gourock. Dunoon is main resort on the Cowel Peninsula and the maritime gateway to the Loch Lomond & Troassachns National Park. Dunoon is built around the historic Castle Mound and is famours for its large Victorian Pier.
Kilcreggan
Rothesay
A short ferry ride from Gourock. Kilcreggan is located on the Rosneath Peninsula, it is beautiful pictureusque village with lots to explore whether you would like to take in the scenic views, walk some beautiful trails and kayak, paddle board or canoe.
A short ferry ride from Wemyss Bay. Rothesay is the capital of Bute, it is a smart Victorian seaside resort and includes sites such as Rothesay Castle, Mount Stuart House and Bute Museum.
Millport
A short ferry ride from Largs. Millport is the capital of Cumbrae, it is a quirky seaside destination and possesses Britain's smallest Cathedral. Cumbrae is a also a paradise for cyclists, with a 10.25 mile circumference many like to hire a bike, tandem or family bike to explore the Island. While others opt to relax taking in the scenic views or even hire a Kayak or Paddle Board to explore the water.

The ferry via Western Ferries from Gourock to Dunoon is only a few minutes walk from the apartment, and can be boarded as a passenger on foot or by car.
The ferry via CalMac from Gourock is 5 minutes away by car from the apartment or 9 minutes by bus, this is passenger only Ferry to Dunoon.
